It gives me great pleasure to introduce you to the wonderful world of the Junior Colleges Pre-school Group comprising of eight pre-schools. We cater for children from 3 months to 6 years old. Each of our schools are conveniently situated within close proximity to main arterial roads.

The schools are ably run by dynamic principals who are experienced in all things related to ensuring the smooth running of a school, and providing your little one with tender loving care and education within a safe and stimulating environment.

Because of our ongoing commitment to meeting today’s educational demands of early childhood development, we at Junior Colleges, have implemented the highly acclaimed EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) curriculum which promotes “work through play”.  It is an integrated approach based on the seven areas of learning and which caters for the developmental needs of children from babies to six years old.

Creative Activities stimulates both sides of the brain and assists with the development of whole brain learning.

Children learn using their senses and creative activities is a wonderful platform whereby children engage in fun activities which involve the use of all their senses.

Through participating in creative activities, children develop hand-eye co-ordination e.g. holding a paintbrush, manipulating a pair of scissors, modelling with clay etc.

Creative activities allow a child to develop lateral thinking and problem solving

Because children enjoy creative activities, they spend longer on their “creations” which assist in improving their concentration skills

Studies have revealed that children who participate in creative activities read better and perform well in science and maths than those that are not given the opportunity to participate in these activities.

Creative activities provide a great social activity which encourages friendships and group work.

Creative activities promote self-expression and self-esteem. There is no right or wrong in this activity and a child gets a feeling of pride in his/her end-product.
